An 8-year-old Ben Nevis 2014 bottled in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration by Signatory Vintage for their Ibisco Decanter series.
This 2014 Ben Nevis 8-year-old came from a small batch of sherry butts bottled at 46%, so it should be easy-drinking but still packed with flavour. Signatory's Ibisco decanters are a sure sign of quality and Ben Nevis has been on a roll for a few years now, so this won't last long.

For an 8 year old; this absolutely blew me away at how complex, deep and lasting this whisky is... It's dark; chewy, Chocolate Riesen's with a lick of ok in there too. It has a length to it that you'd expect from a whisky twice its age TBH. It has a kick of a well aged Christmas cake and the taste of dried apple skins that are super-sweet and super 'appley'... All in I'd highly recommend this dram to anyone that wants an interesting, deep and very enjoyable whisky. The bottle is superb also and for £50, its unbeatable! TBH this would put the likes of a Glenfarclas 15YO to the test and IMO, better it!
