Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Bottled At: Blanton's Distilling Company 70cl / 51.5% - 103 Proof
An old edition of Blanton's Gold Edition single barrel Kentucky bourbon - this is from Single Barrel 149, which was released in 2021 at the Blanton's Gold standard strength of 51.5% (103 US Proof).
Blanton's is an institution in American whiskey, introduced in the mid-1980s by Elmer T. Lee and with a strong claim to be the first luxury single barrel bourbon brand. Today the whiskey is still sourced from Buffalo Trace, while the Blanton's brand has been owned by Japanese company Takara Shuzo since 1992.

It’s a fabulous single malt - first discovered in holiday to Scotland. Small batch whisky and is mostly used as a main component of a blended whisky. Lovely smooth taste
The only way to drink an affordable and decent strength Macallan. A strong Sherry influence with a ‘vintage’ feel, akin to a Springbank 21 I drank 25 years ago when you could pick one up without bankrupting yourself
