An official 1969 Bowmore released in the 1980s under the famous Bowmore vintage label of the time. This Bowmore 1969 has no age statement but is around 15-20 years old.
The vintage label series concentrated on whiskies 'Matured in specially selected Sherry Casks and warehoused in the Distillery' and revealed some stunning expressions that displayed the elegant Bowmore character and gentle but intense fruity, smoky flavours. This 1969 Bowmore is part of a legendary string of vintage Bowmores with an old-school Islay profile that has never been surpassed and still captivates malt whisky drinkers and Bowmore fans today.
