A single cask Bunnahabhain 2001 22-year-old Islay single malt whisky bottled early in 2024 by Signatory Vintage without colouring or chill filtration for their top-of-the-range Symington’s Choice series.
This 22-year-old Bunnahabhain 2001 matured full term in Cask 1438, an Oloroso sherry butt that yielded 427 bottles at its natural cask strength of 57.5%. Long-aged sherried Bunna is always excellent, and these Symington’s Choice bottlings have been uniformly superb - this looks like another winner.
