Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 40%
A wonderful small batch 1949 Glen Grant bottled as a 58-year-old by Gordon & MacPhail in 2007.
This 58-year-old Glen Grant 1949 came from a pair of sister refill sherry casks 3175 & 3180 and was bottled with the classic old school Glen Grant licensed bottlings label. A compelling whisky packed full of all kinds of fruits, wood notes, spice, honey and touches of citrus peel, this is a style of whisky that only G&M seem to possess these days. An exquisite dram.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
