Single Malt Japanese Malt Whisky Bottled By Nikka 70cl / 45%
A bottle of Nikka Yoichi's no-age-statement Japanese single malt whisky, this was introduced in 2015 at the height of the Japanese whisky drought, replacing the previous core range.
Yoichi was the first distillery built after Nikka's founder Masataka Taketsuru departed from Suntory in the 1930s, and was Nikka's only whisky distillery until the construction of Sendai (now known as Miyagikyo) in 1969. This Nikka Yoichi is bottled at a hearty 45%, allowing Yoichi's characterful, immaculately-tailored spirit to reveal its lively grassy, sweet, fruity flavours balanced by a thread of smoke.

It’s a fabulous single malt - first discovered in holiday to Scotland. Small batch whisky and is mostly used as a main component of a blended whisky. Lovely smooth taste
