A 1975 North Port 26-year-old bottled without colouring or chill filtration back in 2001 by Signatory Vintage for their short-lived but important and influential Silent Stills series, which came with an additional miniature of the whisky alongside a display bung made from the staves of the barrel.
Also sometimes known as Brechin, North Port was one of several Highland distilleries that perished in the cull by Diageo forerunner DCL during the 1980s whisky crisis, closing in 1983. This Silent Stills North Port 1975 came from a single cask, No. 2960, which yielded 211 bottles at a very impressive 55.6%.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

It’s a fabulous single malt - first discovered in holiday to Scotland. Small batch whisky and is mostly used as a main component of a blended whisky. Lovely smooth taste
The only way to drink an affordable and decent strength Macallan. A strong Sherry influence with a ‘vintage’ feel, akin to a Springbank 21 I drank 25 years ago when you could pick one up without bankrupting yourself
