An official Tamdhu 18-year-old, which returned to the distillery's core range after a long absence in 2022. This is the 2023 edition, and was bottled at 46.8% without colouring or chill filtration.

Just like its stablemate Glengoyne, Tamdhu flourishes in sherry casks. This Tamdhu 18-year-old is comprised entirely of Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled without colouring or chill filtration at a hearty 46.8%. A cracking dram from a distillery that deserves far greater recognition.

Nose: Dry nutty sherry, cherry, milk chocolate, rum raisin, citrus, baked oats and plum.

Palate: Sherry notes are rich, complex and mouthcoating with vanilla, brown sugar, red apple and dried fruits.

Finish: Long and warming, dried apricot and dates, soft spice and stewed apple.
