Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 47.7%
A single cask Tamdhu 1972 50-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2022 without colouring or chill filtration by Gordon & MacPhail for their Private Collection range.
This 50-year-old Tamdhu 1972 came from Cask 3430, a single refill American hogshead that turned out 143 bottles at its natural cask strength of 47.7%. Tamdhu was often overlooked under Edrington but has flourished since 2011 under the stewardship of Ian Macleod distillers. This is one of the oldest Tamdhus ever bottled, and should be superb stuff.
