Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 57.1%
A single cask Tormore 1995 28-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2024 by Gordon & MacPhail without colouring or chill filtration for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range.
This 28-year-old Tormore 1995 came from single cask 5391, a refill sherry puncheon cask that yielded a total of 493 bottles at its natural cask strength of 57.1%, equivalent to the old 100 imperial proof. Tormore is a distillery attracting considerably more interest nowadays, so these long-aged single casks are timely offerings from G&M.

It’s a fabulous single malt - first discovered in holiday to Scotland. Small batch whisky and is mostly used as a main component of a blended whisky. Lovely smooth taste
The only way to drink an affordable and decent strength Macallan. A strong Sherry influence with a ‘vintage’ feel, akin to a Springbank 21 I drank 25 years ago when you could pick one up without bankrupting yourself
