A mysterious 2007 vintage single malt whisky assembled by Elixir Distillers' distinguished chief nose Oliver Chilton from an undisclosed Lowland distillery for Single Malts of Scotland's Reserve Casks series.
This was a batch of three (undisclosed) casks of the 2007 vintage and was bottled in 2021 as a 13-year-old at 48%. There's many more active Lowland distilleries nowadays, but back in 2007 that wasn't the case, with the realistic options being Auchentoshan or Glenkinchie. And it's almost certainly not Glenkinchie.
