Brave New Spirits are one of Scotland's new wave of maverick independent bottlers, releasing distinctive single cask and small batch whiskies in their Rebels Guerilla Casks and Voodoo Whisky ranges, while Paul has worked in the industry for a great many years representing brands including Glen Gran, Arran and Bruichladdich.

Join us on Zoom on Friday 23rd September as Paul takes us through several highlights from Brave New Spirits recent releases, including Blair Athol, Ledaig, Tormore and Caol Ila - this is a tasting not to be missed!

How it works and what you get:
1. Order a tasting pack here.
2. Your pack containing all drams will then be shipped out to you prior to the tasting. The week of the tasting an email with the Zoom link and a 10% discount code to redeem against any whiskies tasted on the evening will be sent.
3. On the 23rd of September 2022 click the link at 19:15 BST (to allow for any technical issues you may encounter) and you will be accepted into the tasting at 19:30.
4. Relax and get ready to pour, listen, taste, and ask as many questions as you wish.

Paul Dempsey

Paul Dempsey is a familiar face to many whisky fans from various UK and international whisky festivals. Paul’s early days in the whisky business began with work for brands including Glen Grant, Arran, Suntory/Bowmore and Bruichladdich before an eight year spell as Commercial Manager for the Speyside distillery’s SPEY single malt whisky.

Paul’s tireless work for SPEY led to him being Highly Commended in the Scotch Whisky Brand Ambassador of the Year category at the Icons of Whisky awards in 2021, and this year he joined Brave New Spirits as Sales and Marketing Director, applying his talents to the company’s single cask and high end small batch whiskies, all while judging at whisky and spirits competitions including the World Whisky Awards, Scottish Field Awards and the illustrious Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
