Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 60.1%
A 2004 Caol Ila bottled in 2015 by Gordon & MacPhail for their CASK series. Matured in a combination of first-fill and refill sherry butts and bottled at a natural strength of 60.1%.
If you're looking for a full blast of Islay peat, Atlantic freshness and smoked kippers all wrapped up in a whole cabinet full of medicine then this is the dram for you.
An uncompromising, blisteringly assertive, pristine and chiseled dram that rewards deeply patient and contemplative late night dramming. Stellar stuff!

Bought a cask strength Signatory Glenlivet. Absolutely gorgeous heavily sheered dram Great service too - arrived promptly within 48 hours of ordering. Many thanks.
In the nose it is very interesting and complex but when you taste it’s just horrible even if you add a bit of water… expected a lot more from a miltonduff
