Description

Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Signatory Vintage 70cl / 57.1% / 100 Proof

A small batch Miltonduff 2011 12-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2024 without colouring or chill filtration by Signatory Vintage as Edition 14 in their zeitgeist-capturing 100 Proof Editions range.

This 12-year-old Miltonduff 2011 was bottled at 57.1% from a batch of first fill Oloroso sherry butts, and its magnificently dark chestnut colour is a fairly clear indicator of what you're getting here. A must-have for fans of sherried Speyside whisky with an eye for a bargain.

Very enjoyable, superb value sherry bomb

This is a high ABV, low cost bottle that surprised me with some complexity. Not in the way a £200 dram provides, but it has character and uniqueness. This was shared on an evening with another from the series and both were universally enjoyed.

I was struck by the leather / tobacco hint that arrived early. The classic sherry hit with its sweetness and fruitiness is seperate from the darker notes.

Even on the neck pour i agreed to buy more

To harsh

I know I bought a cask strength whisky but was expecting a nice taste but the strength overpowered the flavor, I found it harsh, but I am not a whiskey conasur. I also bought the secret Orkney signatory cask strength and that was very nice.

Miltonduff

One of my favourite tipples if you like a heavily sherried dram it's definitely a good buy no brainer for the price but not for the faint of heart. I think I have bought 10 bottles had to be done as it won't be coming around any time soon, hope ican last out.

Sweet Chewy Delight.

Stunning winter dram, slight spice, chocolatey , huge amounts of sweet cherry , sugar, & Xmas cake malty sultanas. At cask strength this 13 yr old dram is a steal! Another belter from signatory.

Good sherry flavour

Raisin and chocolate aroma and a taste of sherry with dried fruits and nuts and a little spice. Dry almost savoury despite the fruits with wine gums in the finish. (Taken with a good slug of water).
