A 1966 Glenburgie bottled in 2014 by Gordon & MacPhail. Given the quite light colour, this should be spectacularly fruity and spicy stuff.
These old Glenburgies can be quite astonishing drams.
Delicate sweet sherry aromas emerge with hints of ripe peach and apricot. The palate has hints of fresh raspberry with dark chocolate and a lingering touch of mint.
