MacDonald’s Glencoe is an old blended malt owned, produced and bottled by the Ben Nevis distillery. This blended malt has existed for decades - previously labelled as Pure Malt when that was the normal term for this type of whisky - and is assumed to contain a high proportion of Ben Nevis single malt.

Glencoe is the scenic area of the Scottish Highlands near the Ben Nevis mountain, at the foot of which lies the Ben Nevis distillery in Fortwilliam, originally constructed by Long John MacDonald, in case you were wondering where the name comes from.
