Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 48.4%
A single cask Jura 2011 12-year-old island single malt whisky bottled in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration by Douglas Laing for their Old Particular range.
This Old Particular 12-year-old Jura 2011 was bottled from a refill barrel cask 17757, yielding 236 bottles at the Old Particular preferred strength of 48.4%. It's always great to try a 'natural' refill cask Jura bottled without the dubious benefits of caramel colouring and chill filtration - if you haven't had the pleasure, this 12-year-old looks perfect for the task.
I've added this bottling to my collection for Jura whisky, i.e. their own bottlings plus the independent bottlings.
