A bottle of Roe & Co.'s blended Irish whiskey, a contemporary blend of Irish malt and grain whiskeys designed for maximum versatility and bottled at 45%.
Matured entirely in first fill and refill ex-bourbon casks before being assembled by Master Blender Caroline Martin, Roe & Co. is bottled without chill filtration, giving the blend a generous, creamy texture.
The original Thomas Street distillery in Dublin owned by George Roe & Co. closed in 1926. Diageo revived the brand in 2017 and subsequently built a new Roe & Co distillery on St. James's St. round the corner from the Guinness brewery. Distillation commenced in 2019 under Head Distiller Lora Hemy, so the brand has some of their own single malt to play with now, although it's unlikely to feature in this particular bottle.
