A single cask Benrinnes 2009 13-year-old bottled in 2022 at full strength without colouring or chill filtration by Brave New Spirits as part of their Cask Noir range, bearing the enigmatic subtitle Ruthrie The Wanderer In Bordeaux.
This 13-year-old Benrinnes 2009 ended its maturation in a first fill red wine barrique from Saint-Emilion in Bordeaux. Cask 301375 yielded a total of 254 bottles at its hefty natural cask strength of 57.2%. Benrinnes is more common from sherry casks - this will be an interesting one.
