After saying you don't see a huge amount of Dalmore indie bottlings here comes another from our friends at Gordon & MacPhail.
Batch 20/098 is a 2005 Dalmore bottled in 2020 by G&M for their new and improved Connoisseur's Choice range.
G&M have also spiced things up and bottled this one at a natural strength of 57.6% instead of the usual 46%.
It was matured for 14 years in a refill bourbon barrel #16600211 that yielded just 255 bottles.

Nose: Citrus zest gives way to sweet tropical fruit with a hint of mixed nuts.
Palate: Mashmallow flavours compliment dried banana and subtle milk chocolate.
Finish: Medium-bodied with lingering toasted almonds.

In the nose it is very interesting and complex but when you taste it’s just horrible even if you add a bit of water… expected a lot more from a miltonduff
