Bottled at 42.2%, Fougerat's Le Laurier D'Apollon is a complex, powerfully flavoured cognac with an abundance of fruit and complex herbal notes and has been bottled without chill filtration, colouring or any added sugar.

Initial Smokey smell then a hint of pear drop.
Tried it without water and it had a sharp burning sensation on the palate as you would expect at this strength but once you added water the sharpness mellowed and the sweet vanilla taste came through.
