A 2002 Caol Ila bottled in 2014 for the annual Feis Ile - the Islay Festival of Whisky & Music.
This Caol Ila 2002 was bottled from a small batch of refill American oak hogsheads - the best kind of cask for Caol Ila's pristine spirit, in our humble opinion - selected by David Wood, the distillery manager at the time, and was an edition of 1500 bottles at a natural cask strength of 55.5%. This will be a cracker.
