We have been shipping whisky and other spirits to our customers in the USA for over 15 years and understand what is needed to legally get your items to you safely.
You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase and take delivery of alcohol being shipped to the USA.
We can't ship to the following states
MI - AL - AR - IA - MS - ND - MA - NH - RI - SD - UT - WV - VA
We try to keep the list above updated but we are bound by our freight forwarding partner and the associated authorities - in any event we will contact you.

All deliveries have to be signed for and will only be left with persons over the legal drinking age in their respected country.
Please note we can no longer ship Japanese whisky to the US. Please ensure your order does not include any Japanese whisky to avoid any returns or cancellations.

How shipping costs are calculated
Shipping costs are calculated based on the standard size of a 70cl bottle & presentation box. However, some bottles have bulky packaging.
For precise shipping costs, please log in to your account and select your desired delivery address. Then, add your chosen products to your cart. Our system will automatically calculate your delivery costs on the delivery options page, based on the size of the items in your cart.

Important Delivery Information
US Trade Tariffs April 2025
As you may be aware, President Trump announced a new set of trade tariffs on all goods imported into the US. We are informing you about how this may affect your orders with us.
Due to these new tariffs, all shipments to US addresses will incur a 10% tariff fee. This fee is included in the product price. This is a direct result of the tariffs and is unfortunately beyond our control.
We understand that this additional cost may be unwelcome. To help you avoid this tariff, we recommend considering having your order delivered to an alternative location outside of the US, if possible. This could be a friend, family member in a different country.
We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these changes. We remain committed to providing you with the best possible products and service.

All deliveries have to be signed for and will only be left with persons over the legal drinking age in their respected country. Delivery times should be taken as a guide only and cannot be guaranteed.
Our courier will no longer leave a card notifying you they have attempted to deliver your parcel. Instead your delivery status will be updated online which you must monitor yourself. You can track your delivery via your Whisky-Online Shop account or by clicking the link in the original delivery email.
Deliveries can not be left in a safe place and must be signed for by someone over the legal drinking age in the respected country. Our courier can not give specific time slots and therefore deliveries are an all day appointment.
Please note that if there is no-one available to sign for the delivery and the delivery fails on 2 or more occasions, then additional charges may be incurred for any further delivery attempts.
If for any reason you make alterations to the delivery outside of Whisky-Online Shop this is at your own risk. This includes arranging collection for a service point. Please note that if you make use of such services we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages as this is a unauthorised third party service.
Before signing for any goods, all parcels must to be checked carefully. If the seal is broken or if the package is damaged or wet, sign carrier's sheet strictly in accordance with the actual condition. It is not sufficient to sign "unexamined". In the rare event your order is damaged or there is an issue, please retain all packaging, contact us immediately with photographs and we will endeavour to rectify any problems.
