An 8-year-old Blair Athol bottled in 2021 as the first release from Glasgow-based indie bottlers Global Whisky's special Concept 8 range, a series of small batch releases of 8-year-old malt whiskies.
This Concept 8 Blair Athol 8-year-old came from a batch of eight American oak hogshead casks bottled in 2021, yielding a total of 3688 bottles at 40.8%.
Trying the Concept 8 was an experiment, which unfortunately didn't work out..
Tasted off, not how I would expect a Blair Athol.
