This PX sherry-finished 2008 Caol Ila has been bottled in 2021 as a 13-year-old for the Infrequent Flyers series, with 268 bottles from the sherry cask at an almost sensible 55.2%.

Colour:Treacle.
Nose:Molasses, caramelised brown sugar. Lingering peat, crispy bacon and smoked fish.
Palate:Full, rich and velvety. Smoky bacon crisps, treacle, mocha and dark chocolate. All enveloped in swirling, soft campfire peat smoke.
