Description

Lowland Single Grain Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 49.1%

A long-aged cask strength Cambus 1976 45-year-old single cask single grain whisky bottled in 2022 by Douglas Laing for their prestige XOP (Extra Old Particular) range.

This 45-year-old Cambus 1976 came from a refill hogshead cask DL15622 that yielded 166 bottles at its natural cask strength of 49.1%. The Cambus grain distillery closed in 1993, but it's great to see that top class casks of this superb grain whisky are still out there, and hopefully this will continue to be the case for a few years yet.
