A rare indie bottled Highland Park 1981 23-year-old bottled at 46% by mail-order company Direct Wines for their First Cask label, a series of hundreds of aged single malts bottled mainly between 1993-2004.

The casks for the First Cask series were sourced by Direct Wines from Signatory Vintage during this time, and many of them were spectacular. This particular Highland Park 1981 was bottled in 2004 or 2005 at 46% (all the First Cask series were bottled at this strength unless the natural strength was below 46%).
