This was a sample which Whisky-Online Shop very kindly replaced of me as the first sample had leaked in transit ruining the QR code in the process. This one duly turned up intact and turned out to be the delightful Tomatin 14 year old Tawny Port cask finish. Lovely notes of honey and caramel toffee and fruit. I’ll definitely be putting this on my shopping list.

A surprise at the price, I found this dram eceeto be smooth with a good smoke finish, marked at 4 stars because although it was easy to follow with another glass or two it just lacked a little body. I shall buy another bottle of this
