Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: The House Of Macduff 70cl / 44.6%
A single cask Bunnahabhain 1972 Islay single malt whisky bottled in 2012 without colouring or chill filtration by indie bottlers House of Macduff for their Golden Cask range.
This 1972 Bunnahabhain came from Cask CM184, yielding 346 bottles at its natural strength of 44.6%. A gentle, delicate, elegant Bunnahabhain, more like a long-aged grassy Highland single malt than an obviously Islay-esque whisky, this is a dry, malty whisky with subtle fruit and spices.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
