A single cask Speymalt Macallan 2005 18-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2024 without colouring or chill filtration by Gordon & MacPhail, whose legendary Speymalt series has been a staple for fans of sherried Macallan for decades.
This 18-year-old Speymalt Macallan 2005 was bottled from single cask 22606304, one of three similar sister casks released in summer 2024, and yielded 344 bottles at its still admirably sturdy natural cask strength of 56.4%. The Speymalt whiskies offer unbeatable value for sherry-matured Macallans of this age and these cask strength editions compare very favourably in both price and quality with the distillery's own official bottlings.

One of my favourite tipples if you like a heavily sherried dram it's definitely a good buy no brainer for the price but not for the faint of heart. I think I have bought 10 bottles had to be done as it won't be coming around any time soon, hope ican last out.
