A single cask Macallan 2005 18-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2024 by Gordon & MacPhail for their acclaimed Speymalt range. This cask strength Speymalt Macallan single cask has a beautiful dark golden colour suggesting both generous sherry influence and plenty of distillery character.
This 18-year-old Speymalt Macallan 2005 was bottled from single cask 22606308, a first fill sherry hogshead cask that yielded an extremely impressive 338 bottles at its natural cask strength of 56.7%. The Speymalt whiskies are pretty much the last way to get sherry-matured Macallans of this age at relatively sensible prices, so grab them while you can.

One of my favourite tipples if you like a heavily sherried dram it's definitely a good buy no brainer for the price but not for the faint of heart. I think I have bought 10 bottles had to be done as it won't be coming around any time soon, hope ican last out.
