A single cask Speymalt Macallan 2005 18-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2024 by Gordon & MacPhail, whose legendary Speymalt series has been a staple for fans of sherried Macallan for decades.
This 18-year-old Speymalt Macallan 2005 was bottled from single cask 22606318, yielding 347 bottles at its very impressive natural cask strength of 58.1%. The Speymalt whiskies have long been the smart way to get sherry-matured Macallans of this age at relatively sensible prices, and now that G&M are no longer buying new fillings we have to accept that one day the last Speymalt will be bottled - cherish them while they're still here.

One of my favourite tipples if you like a heavily sherried dram it's definitely a good buy no brainer for the price but not for the faint of heart. I think I have bought 10 bottles had to be done as it won't be coming around any time soon, hope ican last out.
