A single cask Michter's 10-year-old Single Barrel Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, the flagship bourbon from this historic brand. This Michter's 10-year-old came from Single Barrel L24B0757 and was bottled in 2024 at their standard strength of 94.4 US Proof, equivalent to 47.2%.
The Michter's bourbon brand has a complex history, with the original distillery closing for the final time in 1990. The brand was revived by Chatham Importsshortly before the millennium and now produce their own bourbon at two new Michter's distilleries, which opened in 2015 and 2019. As Michter's own bourbons won't be 10 years old until at least 2025, this will be a sourced whiskey made to Michter's stringent specifications at another Kentucky distillery.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
