This Pulteney 1998 23-year-old was bottled from a single refill bourbon cask, yielding 243 bottles at its natural cask strength of 56.6%. Pulteney is one of the most consistent Highland distilleries, so it's great to see a full strength refill cask version.

The entire Signatory 100 proof series has revealed some astonishing value whisky; this one wasn’t in the sub £50 bracket as per most of its siblings, hence the 4*. I’m not going to review it as I really don’t want everyone else jumping on the bandwagon and pushing up the price.
PS try the Speyside 13 which is a gem; I’m only telling you as I have 5 bottles already.
