Glenfarclas is one of the small number of distilleries that have held firm to their old school traditions, bottling brilliant sherry-matured whisky in unfussy packaging without the need for fancy finishes, bespoke casks, jazzy presentation or any of the other rather desperate fripperies that have recently beset the whisky industry in the frantic, pointless drive for 'innovation'.
