Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 45.7%
A remarkable single cask of 1963 Ben Nevis bottled in 2004 as a 40-year-old by Douglas Laing for their Old & Rare Platinum Selection.
This 40-year-old Ben Nevis 1963 ended its maturation with a six month finishing period in a sherry cask that yielded 339 bottles at its natural cask strength of 45.7%. 1963 is the earliest and rarest vintage of Ben Nevis single malt in the modern era and this sherry-finished single cask from Douglas Laing is an absolute superstar.
