Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskies Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 51.6%
A single cask 1957 Strathisla bottled as a 57-year-old in 2014 by Gordon & MacPhail as one of four special editions in the Private Collection Ultra series. Cask 1730 was selected by G&M managing director Michael Urquhart and his daughter Laura Urquhart, the company's brand manager.
This 57-year-old Strathisla 1957 came from a single sherry hogshead cask number 1730 that yielded just 61 bottles at its natural cask strength of 51.6%. Gordon & MacPhail bottled several Strathislas of this vintage between 2007-2014 - this is one of the oldest and rarest examples and is an exquisite dram.
Please note this comes with all the original packaging.
