The second edition of Teeling's Wonders of Wood is a single pot still Irish whiskey made with a 50/50 split of malted and unmalted barley and has been bottled at 50%.
Teeling Wonders of Wood Second Edition has matured full term in casks made of virgin Portuguese oak - known for its high tannins - and apparently gives the whiskey notes of savoury marmalade, tobacco and pepper. This should be a delightful drop.

Palate: Toasted oak, savoury marmalade with pepper and nutmeg.
Finish: Warming with tobacco, pepper and vanilla maltiness.
