Released towards the end of 2022, Glen Scotia Double Cask Rum Finish is the first of a series of ongoing small batch extensions to the Campbeltown distillery's hugely popular Double Cask series.
The whisky for this Glen Scotia Double Cask Rum Finish started life maturing in first fill ex-bourbon casks before a minimum of eight months finishing in Demerara rum casks from Guyana, and has been bottled at a palate-friendly 46% without colouring or chill filtration. A sweet treat for the winter season from a distillery very much on the up.
