Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 43.5%
A 50-year-old Mortlach 1957 released in 2007 by Gordon & MacPhail as part of their Private Collection series.
This 1957 Mortlach 50-year-old came from a small batch of two first fill sherry butt sister casks, 585 & 586, that yielded a total of 514 bottles at 43.5%. 1950s Mortlach is always extraordinary, maturing in sherry casks of a quality that just doesn't exist today. These incredible old 1950s Mortlachs are almost extinct now, sadly, but we should all be grateful to G&M for preserving them for so long.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

Delicious new make spirit! I see many good things ahead! Clean, well made and well worth every penny! Soft, peat and smoke, with crisp fruit. Almost creamy mouth feel
Can’t wait for the matured whisky!
