Bladnoch Alinta was added to the distillery's Classic Collection range in 2022 and is notable for being that most unusual of animals - a peated Lowland single malt whisky, bottled at 47% without colouring or chill filtration.
Like its unpeated stablemate Bladnoch Vinaya, this Bladnoch Alinta has been matured in first fill ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks - with the sherry element being from Pedro Ximenez casks in this case, ensuring plenty of sweet fruitcake notes to interplay with the phenolic elements.
