Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 46%
An old bottle of Old Pulteney 21-year-old, which was replaced in the distillery's core range by the 25-year-old after 2017.
Bottled at a hearty 46%, the 21-year-old Pulteney was always more luxurious and honey-driven than its iconic stablemate, the uber-salty 17-year-old (subsequently replaced by the 18-year-old). This 21-year-old was intense and oily in nature with prominent fruit and subtle wood influence.
A long-running classic from the distillery's rich past, Old Pulteney 21-year-old is one of the most complex and enjoyable discontinued expressions from this great distillery and won Best Whisky in the World World in Jim Murray's 2012 Whisky Bible with an epic score of 97.5 points.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
