English Single Malt Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 56.4%
A single cask English Distillery 2009 14-year-old 'Zero Phenol' English single malt whisky bottled without chill filtration in 2024 by the distillery formerly known as St. George's (they rebranded as just 'The English Distillery' in 2023).
Cask 063 from St. George's / English Distillery was a second fill American oak hogshead filled with the distillery's unpeated spirit in October 2009 and bottled as a 14-year-old in March 2024, yielding 189 bottles of gentle, bakery-themed English single malt whisky at its natural cask strength of 56.4%.
The Nelstrop's family distillery in Norfolk is England's oldest, having been founded in 2006, and initial production was naturally quite limited - it's fantastic that they still have great single casks like these to sell at this age, and fascinating for us whisky fans to enjoy a truly mature English single malt whisky.

2 bottles of this lovely single malt were bought as gifts. Sampled a couple of drams from one bottle and it went well above expectations. The quality, integrity, natural colour, cask strength ABV and value-for-money made these bottles 'no-brainers'.
Present us with more of these quality bottles at fair prices...and we'll buy more.
This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
