Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 90cl / 43%
An old bottle of Tomatin 30-year-old Centenary Highland single malt whisky, a limited edition released in 1997 to celebrate the distillery's 100th anniversary.
Tomatin released two different versions of this 30-year-old Centenary bottling, with eight hundred 70cl decanters being released to the general public and a further two hundred larger 90cl (900ml) decanters, which were gifted to attendees of the distillery's Centenary dinner. This bottling is the larger, rarer edition.
The squat, potstill-shaped decanter is formed from lead-free crystal, with matching stopper, and is filled with 30-year-old Highland single malt whisky distilled at Tomatin no later than 1967. A magnificent dram from a much-overlooked distillery.

This is a heavily sherried dram that tastes of dates and raisins with a touch of honey and vanilla. It’s pretty soft and smooth without water but a few drops seem to thicken it up slightly and add hints of caramel. Absolutely gorgeous.
