Highland Single Grain Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Duncan Taylor 70cl / 51.6%
A single cask 1965 Invergordon 43-year-old single grain whisky bottled in 2009 without colouring or chill filtration by Duncan Taylor for their Rare Auld range.
Invergordon is one of Scotland's surviving grain whisky distilleries, and spends its days making grain whisky for owner Whyte & Mackay's blended whiskies, but occasionally venerable old casks of long-aged single grain whisky like this slip out to the indie bottlers and demonstrate what this overlooked distillery is really capable of. This 43-year-old Invergordon 1965 43-year-old came from Cask 15536, yielding just 210 bottles at its natural cask strength of 51.6%.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.
