A privately-bottled single cask of Bruichladdich 10-year-old Islay single malt whisky, released at its epic cask strength of 64.5%.
There's no vintage on the label of this private bottling of Bruichladdich, but we understand that the whisky in Cask 142 was distilled in 2009. The cask itself was a first fill ex-bourbon barrel that yielded a total of 244 bottles, and was bottled without colouring or chill filtration at its full natural cask strength.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

Initial Smokey smell then a hint of pear drop.
Tried it without water and it had a sharp burning sensation on the palate as you would expect at this strength but once you added water the sharpness mellowed and the sweet vanilla taste came through.
