A 2004 litre bottle of 12-year-old Macallan 1992 Elegancia, this was the first Elegancia in the new style Macallan bottle introduced that year, and was also the last Macallan Elegancia to have a stated vintage.

Elegancia was a short-lived series of Macallans bottled for travel retail (hence the 1 litre bottle size) between around 2002-2008, originally vintage bottlings but later just labelled as 12 years old. Elegancia was a lighter style of Macallan than most fans were used to when it first appeared (before the arrival of the Fine Oak series), because the casks used were not exclusively Oloroso sherry but also included casks seasoned with the lighter, drier Fino sherry.
