A single cask Ardbeg 2008 14-year-old Islay single malt whisky bottled by North Star Spirits in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration for their Cask Series 024.
This 14-year-old Ardbeg 2008 finished up in an Oloroso sherry butt that yielded 181 bottles at its absolutely massive natural cask strength of 60.8%. A sherry-tinged indie Ardbeg at this age and strength is always a delight, so we can't see this one lasting long.

I know I bought a cask strength whisky but was expecting a nice taste but the strength overpowered the flavor, I found it harsh, but I am not a whiskey conasur. I also bought the secret Orkney signatory cask strength and that was very nice.
