A terrific single cask Arran 1995, bottled from a sherry hogshead in 2002 as a 6-year-old at its natural cask strength of 55.3%. A total of 396 bottles were yielded from the cask.
This was clearly a pretty active sherry cask judging by the (natural) colour and comes from the fascinating period early in this century when the Arran distilleries first distillates were just starting to come of age.
1995 was Arran's first year of distillation, so these early bottlings are pretty special.
