Bottled in various guises since the late '60s, this legendary name is synonymous with massive notes of chocolate, fruit oils, nutmeg, caramel, stewed fruits, simmering spices, dark brown sugar, leather, wax and very thick notes of clean, vibrant sherry.

Edradour may be the hidden gem of malts but this is a hidden gem in their line up. Dark, complex and satisfying, don't hesitate for a second, this is not to be missed at this price point.
Initial Smokey smell then a hint of pear drop.
Tried it without water and it had a sharp burning sensation on the palate as you would expect at this strength but once you added water the sharpness mellowed and the sweet vanilla taste came through.
